Finnish handset maker Nokia has finally rolled out the cheapest Windows Phone 8 OS based smartphone Lumia 520 into the Indian market.
Just a few days after officially unveiling Lumia 520 and Lumia 720, Nokia has got Lumia 520 listed in the popular Indian online retailer Flipkart for ₹10,499. But, Lumia 720 is reported to be hitting stores only by mid-April.
Lumia 520 sports a 4.0-inch WVGA IPS display with 800 x 480p resolutions and packs a pixel density of 235 pixels per inch. It is runs on the Qualcomm Krait dual-core processor 1GHz CPU speed.
In comparison to recently released Lumia 620 (₹14,499), low-end Lumia 520 has bigger screen size as well as battery capacity and packs same dual-core processor, 512 MB RAM as well as 8GB internal storage capacity.
However, the only drawback is lack of front-camera and NFC (Near Field Communication) support.
