Nexus 10 Listed at Google Play Store in India for ₹29,999

More than a year after the Samsung-built Google Nexus 10 was unveiled, Nexus fans in India will soon be able get their hands on the Android-powered 10-inch tablet.

The 2012-model Nexus 10 - 16GB (Wi-Fi only) version has been listed on the Google Play store (India Edition) for ₹29,999. The 32GB variant (Wi-Fi only) has been priced in the dollar (US) denomination for $499 (around ₹30,900), but sales are yet to kick-off.

Despite being a year-old device, Nexus 10 packs enough features to give any new tablet a run for its money. The device sports a 10.055-inch PLS-backlit WQXGA (2510x1600p) LCD screen with a pixel density of 300 ppi (pixels per inch) and runs on Android v4.2 Jelly Bean OS (the new v4.4 KitKat update is slated to roll out in few days time).

Under-the-hood, Nexus 10 packs Samsung's Exynos 5 dual-core ARM Cortex-A15 processor, Mali-T604 GPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB/32GB storage space and a 9000mAh Lithium-Polymer battery.

It also flaunts a 5.0-megapixel main camera on the rear-side and a 1.9-megapixel snapper on the front. Connectivity wise, it boasts of Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n (MIMO+HT40), Bluetooth and NFC (Android Beam).

Apart from Nexus 10, Google is also rumoured to launch its brand new marquee devices, Nexus 5 smartphone and Nexus 7 (2013 version) tablet, on 12 November in India. They both have been already listed at Google Play store. Nexus 5 smartphone -16GB model is priced ₹28,999 and 32GB - ₹32,999, whereas the new Nexus 7 tablet 32GB-LTE model holds a price-tag of ₹25,999.
