Motorola Moto G Ferrari Edition Unveiled; To Hit Stores in Mexico Next Month

On Tuesday (13 May), Motorola officially launched Moto G 4G-LTE and budget smartphone Moto E in UK and India, now Mexican arm of the company has released an exclusive collector edition of Moto G Ferrari.

Moto G Ferrari Edition comes in dual-color combo (Black with little specks of Red on speaker grills and camera ring), not 'Hot Red,' which we see on company's Formula One car on the tracks. It also boasts of Kevlar back-case with the flagship Scuderia Ferrari sigil 'Prancing Horse' at the bottom.

Besides the new cover and logo on the rear side, key specifications of the device remain same as seen inside the original model. It sports 4.5-inch HD screen with pixel density of 329 ppi (pixels per inch) and run on the Android v4.4 KitKat OS powered by 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 series quad-core processor, 1GB RAM and come in 16GB storage variant. As of now, Moto G Ferrari Edition will be initially available in Mexico in June for MXN 4,999 Pesos (around $387/₹23,000), reported Poder PDA.

It has to be noted that Moto G Ferrari Edition is the second variant of original 3G model. Last month, Motorola Mexico had launched Moto G Forte with rubber frame. It too packed same specification seen inside the native model and is sold exclusively via network carrier Nextel.
