Before Micromax could officially unveil the new Canvas Doodle 4, a smartphone vendor has leaked the price and specification of the phablet.
Micromax just today (26 May), posted (via Twitter) a series of graphic posters hinting the imminent launch of Canvas Doodle 4, but Mumbai based consumer electronics shop Mahesh Telecom (via Facebook) has revealed that the yet-to-be-launched Micromax Canvas Doodle 4 Q391will cost ₹9,499.
Going by the leaked specifications list, Canvas Doodle 4 is a major upgrade over its predecessor Doodle 3, which was launched in April last year.
The upcoming Micromax Canvas Doodle 4 is said to boast a mammoth 6.0-inch HD IPS screen with metallic finish body and run on the Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with 1.3GHz quad-core processor (probably Mediatek), 1GB RAM and 8GB inbuilt memory.
To power the mammoth screen, it will be backed by a high-capacity 3000 mAh battery. It also boasts of 8mp camera on the rear-side and a 2mp snapper on the front.
Whereas the Canvas Doodle 3 feature sub-par 6.0-inch WVGA (800x480p) display and shipped with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean (later upgraded to 4.4 KitKat), 1.3GHz dual-core MediaTek (MT6572) processor coupled with 512MB of RAM, 4GB inbuilt memory, 2500 mAh battery, 5mp main camera and 0.3mp (VGA) front-camera.
As of now, Micromax is yet to respond to the rumours running wild on the internet. Until the company clears the air over the issue, this report will remain has pure speculations only.
