Micromax Canvas Doodle 3 Goes Official; Price, Availability Details

The wait is over. Popular indigenous smartphone maker Micromax officially launched its much anticipated Canvas Doodle 3 smartphone in India with an aggressive price tag of 8,500.

The Canvas Doodle 3 smartphone will be available in the market for purchase from 25 April and will come in two classy colours - Blazing Blue and Pristine White. Talking of the specifications of the Micromax's new offering, the handset sports big 6-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core MediaTek (MT6572) processor coupled with 512MB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box OS and packs 4GB internal storage which is further expandable by upto 32GB with microSD card.

Canvas Doodle 3 houses 5.0-megapixel autofocus camera at the back and a 0.3-megapixel on the front. Regarding the connectivity, the successor to Micromax's Canvas Doodle 2 supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, EDGE/ GPRS, GPS/ A-GPS and Micro-USB along with 3G. The phablet comes preloaded with apps such as M! Live, M! Doodle, BigFlix, Get It, Games (Marbles, Rope Cut, Jelly Jumper), Kingsoft Office and Opera Mini and is backed by 2500 mAh battery, which claims upto 260 hours in standby mode and nine hours of talktime.

The phone is offered with magnetic flip-cover too.
