Bangalore-based smartphone maker Karbonn Mobiles has released Titanium S5 Plus, a upgraded version of its flagship model Titanium S5, in the market.
Going by the specifications list, Titanium S5 Plus is not much of an upgrade to its predecessor as it packs pretty much the same features. The only difference is that new phone sports a different contour design on its exterior, faster processor and different OS version.
The phone flaunts a 5.0-inch IPS qHD (960x540) LCD display and runs on the Android v4.2 Jelly Bean OS powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor with 1GB RAM, 4GB inbuilt memory (expandable up to 32GB) and 1800 mAh battery.
Titanium S5 Plus also of boasts of an 8.0-megapixel camera with LED flash support, 0.3-megapixel VGA secondary camera for video chatting, 3G network support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth with A2DP support and integrated GPS system for navigation.
The new Karbonn phone is available at online store Saholic for ₹10,990.
Last week, Karbonn Mobiles' local counterpart Micromax released Canvas HD A116i, a re-hashed variant of its flagship model - Canvas HD A116.
MNC rival and the reigning smartphone leader Samsung is also rumoured to launch a quad-core based mid-range smartphone called Galaxy Grand 2 this month.
