Bengaluru based smartphone maker Karbonn Mobile has reportedly released the brand new Platinum series phablet dubbed as P9 in India.
E-commerce site, Snapdeal has already begun taking the orders for the Karbonn Platinum P9 for ₹8,899. Its USP is the 8.0-megapixel cameras on front and back. The rear-side snapper comes with LED flash support.
Another note-worthy feature of Platinum P9 is that its sports a mammoth 6.0-inch IPS screen, which comes with Gorilla Glass 3 scratch-guard, but its sub-par qHD (960x540p) resolution is bit of a letdown for users who like watching movie clips on the big-screen.
Under the hood, it houses a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt memory and 2500 mAh battery, which can keep the phone running for close to 200 hours under standby mode.
Competition:
6.0-inch Karbonn Platinum P9 will be competing with the domestic rival brand Micromax YU Yureka, Canvas Selfie, China based Redmi Note 4G, and soon to be released Lenovo A7000.
