Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC has launched a new budget handset Desire 626.
The new Desire 626 was rumoured to debut in the CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2014, but HTC had a different game plan in mind and went ahead with the launch of a higher-end model Desire 826 last month.

Now, finally the company has officially announced affordable 4G-LTE based Desire 626. It sports 5.0-inch HD display and ships with 64-bit class Snapdragon 410 SoC (System on Chip), 1GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt memory and a 2,000mAh battery, which can run the phone for close to 800 hours under standby mode.

As of now, HTC is expected to launch the smartphone in its home market, Taiwan for NT$ 5,990 (around $190/€168/₹11,800) and later in other emerging markets of Asia including India.
