Taiwanese smartphone vendor HTC Corporations have unveiled the Desire 826 smartphone with lots of meaningful changes and includes Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.
The mid-range Android smartphone Desire 826 looks quite identical to HTC Desire Eye, but a bit larger and heavier. Measuring 158x77.5x7.9mm the Desire 826 weighs 183g, the smartphone comes encased inside a polycarbonate shell.
The Desire 826 Android smartphone boasts a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1,920x1,080 pixels. The LTE 4G-enabled Android Lollipop smartphone comes powered by a Snapdragon 615 SoC, which comprises two Quad-Core ARM Cortex A53 CPU running at 1.7GHz and 1.3GHz respectively and also features Adreno 405 GPU for handling graphic related tasks.
The SoC is capable of handling 64-bit processing capability and also features HEVC H.265 hardware decoder. HTC has coupled the processor with 2GB worth RAM and 16GB internal memory.
The HTC Desire 826 Android smartphone also features a 13mp primary and 4 Ultrapixel secondary cameras and will also inherit the special camera features of the HTC Desire Eye smartphone.
Powered with a 2,600mAh battery, the Desire 826 smartphone has just got listed on the HTC official US website. The post didn't explain anything further on the availability or price of the smartphone yet, but we believe the smartphone will be rolled out in the market by the end of this month.
