Research out of Florida State University states that married couples have a higher rate of infidelity, when one of the partners is needy and worries he or she will be abandoned. Researchers added that those who are needy and insecure in their relationship are most likely to be unfaithful. The team checked in with 207 newlywed couples six times over four years.
