Television star Ram Kapoor, who currently appears on Sony TV's "Dil Ki Baatein Dil Hi Jaane" reportedly met with an accident when he was on his way to the sets on his bike.
He is said to have lost control and injured his legs. The actor was helped by some on-lookers who rushed him to a nearby hospital.
"Everyone panicked but luckily he did not have any injury. However, the doctors have advised him to get an x-ray done to detect any internal harm," a source told Telly Chakkar.
Kapoor has now been advised to take a few days rest and hence, will be away from the screens for a couple of days.
The actor, who was last seen alongside Sunny Leone in "Kuch Kuch Locha Hai", is popular for his on-screen character of Ram in Ekta Kapoor's "Bade Achhe Lagte Hain".
Although the show drew curtains last year, the on-screen couple Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar (aka Priya) turned out to be one of the most loved couples.
Of late, many TV actors have injured themselves during shoots.
Anas Rashid, popular for his on-screen character of Suraj in "Diya Aur Baati Hum" while shooting for a Kabaddi sequence had a bad fall and sprained his ankle. The talented actor although has been advised to take bed rest, chose to resume shooting as delaying the shoot would affect the schedule of the entire cast.
"Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" actress Shireen Mirza aka Simi too injured her leg while shooting for a dance sequence.
