Anas Rashid, popular for his on-screen character of Suraj in "Diya Aur Baati Hum", seems to have a tough time shooting for the show.
For quite sometime now, the Star Plus show has been revolving around the kabaddi sequence and while shooting for a particular scene, Anas had a bad fall and sprained his ankle. The talented actor has been advised to take bed rest for a couple of days.
However, being a professional actor, Anas chose to resume shooting as delaying the shoot would affect the schedule of the entire cast.
"We were shooting a crucial scene and unfortunately I had a bad fall. The doctor said I needed to rest but how could I delay the entire shoot? It affects the schedule of the entire cast and I don't want the show to suffer at my cost," Anas told Mid Day.
Talking about the professional players who were hired on the show, the actor said: "There are real kabaddi players on sets whom I have approached like ten times already for tips, they are so helpful! They have given me valuable insights of the game which I am incorporating in my acting. I hope the audience recognizes all the hard work that is being put in the show."
Of late, the kabaddi track has been in news mostly because of the change in the cast who would play the coach. However, Rituraj Singh has finally made it as the kabaddi coach and Riddhi Dogra as the team owner.
Recently, Shireen Mirza aka Simi of "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" too injured her leg while shooting for a dance sequence.
