Confirmed! Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Singh Give their Nod to Son's Marriage; Ranbir-Katrina to Marry by 2015 End

Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif who have been dating each other for the past few years now, are reportedly planning to tie the knot soon.

Ranbir's parents Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh have given their nod to their son's marriage and the lovebirds may get married by the end of 2015, reported The Times of India.

There were also reports that the couple were supposed to get engaged last year, but the "Barfi" actor panicked out at the last moment. 

But Neetu Singh is said to be on good terms with Kaif and actually fond of her. However, a recent incident where the yesteryear actress cropped her son's ladylove from a family picture, raised many eyebrows.

Although it remained a mystery as to why she chose to do so, many speculated that all was not well between Singh and Kaif. Others pointed out that her move may have been an attempt to preserve the privacy of the couple.

As for Kaif, the actress has made a good effort to maintain a cordial relationship with her prospective in-laws. The actress, who was shooting for "Jagga Jasoos" in Thailand, upon her arrival back to Mumbai, apparently headed straight to Ranbir's parent's house to check on Rishi's health, who was down with malaria and dengue.

Ranbir and Kaif, who are in a live-in relationship, have a sea-facing penthouse at Carter Road in Bandra as their love nest, for which they are reportedly shelling out a whopping ₹15 lakh per month as rent.  

On the workfront, both Kapoor and Kaif are currently shooting for Anurag Basu's "Jagga Jasoos."
