B-town lovebirds Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif have been in the news ever since the couple has planned to move in together.
A few months back, reports have been doing the rounds that the couple has bought a duplex flat for Rs. 20 crore. But, according to a recent report, the duo will now be moving in a rented apartment in plush areas of Bandra.
Apparently, both Kapoor and Kaif will be shelling out a whopping ₹15 lakhs per month as rent for their dream home.
"They have found a sea-facing penthouse at Carter Road in Bandra (W) that has two terraces. Ever since they've finalised the place, they have been busy doing it up with souvenirs that they picked up on their travels abroad," a source close to the celebs told Hindustan Times.
This would be the first time the Kapoor lad will be paying his rent in Mumbai. Until now, the "Barfi" actor has been living with his parents in their ancestral bungalow Krishna Raj.
On the other hand, the "Bang Bang" actress has been living on rent in Mumbai from the very beginning of her career. "Since Katrina has done this before, she has been taking care of the penthouse's paper work. The last time Ranbir stayed in a rented apartment was when he was studying in the US," the source added.
Further, the "Jagga Jasoos" couple will shift to their new abode by next week and are apparently planning for a big house-warming party along with close friends and family.
Now, that the couple has decided to live together, fans hope that a wedding announcement might be on the cards soon. There were also rumours that the duo might get married in February next year.
Apparently, Kapoor's mother, Neetu Singh is in good terms with Kaif and has already started preparing for the big day.
Meanwhile, both Kapoor and Kaif are busy shooting for Anurag Basu's "Jagga Jasoos" in Thailand.
