Bollywood actor Salman Khan has now turned godfather for "Bigg Boss 8" contestant Natasa Stankovic. The "Bigg Boss 8"contestant will finally be seen as a lead actress of a film, courtesy Salman.
The Serbian hottie has done an item number in Ajay Devgn's "Satyagraha" movie and was seen in a guest appearance in "Action Jackson" last year.
But now she has bagged a leading lady role in Saurabh Varma's directorial film "7 Hours To Go", which is a crime thriller.
Varma has signed a three film deal with Krian Media and "7 Hours To Go" is his second movie with the production house. Natasa will be paired opposite Shiv Pandit, who will be seen in Varma's upcoming film "Solid Patels".
Interestingly, Varma had also launched Elli Avram, Salman's rumoured girlfriend, in "Mickey Virus".
"Elli had gone to 'Bigg Boss' after completing the film as part of promotional campaign. However, Natasa made her presence felt with 'Bigg Boss' and got selected for '7 Hours to Go' after an audition," Varma said, according to Bollywood Hungama.
Bollywood Hungama also reported that, it was Salman who suggested Natasa's name.
Meanwhile, the shooting of the film has started in Mumbai. The film also features Kettan Singh, Sandeepa Dhar and Varun Badola and will hit screens on 11 September.
On the personal front, Natasa ended her relationship with "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" actor Aly Goni. Natasa and Aly were in a relationship for more than a year. The two ended their relationship earlier this year.
Aly confirmed the news to The Times of India and said that he prefers an Indian girl.
"Yes, we are not together. I think I would prefer to be with an Indian girl. There were many issues in adjusting to the differences we had in our cultural backgrounds. I wish her well," the "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" actor told TOI.
