Last year, Ranbir Kapoor made headlines when he decided to move out of his ancestral home to live-in with his rumoured girlfriend and actress Katrina Kaif.
The lovebirds made a plush flat in Bandra their nest; now it looks like other celebs are following in their footsteps.
Now, reports are doing the rounds that Alia Bhatt too is planning to move out of her parents' home.
Bhatt is said to be on a house-hunting spree for quite some time now and is meeting property dealers for the same.
Confirming the news, a source told Asian Age: "Yes, she is looking for something close to her parents' home. From what I understand and know, it's just for investment purposes. She is still living with her parents."
There was a twist in the tale, when the source later said: "But then you never know."
This has led some to speculate that she is planning a live-in with her rumoured beau Sidharth Malhotra.
Earlier, in an interview with the daily, Bhatt had said: "I have thought about living all by myself. But I'm scared that my decision might not work for me. The one person I always want to see when I get back home is my mother."
Meanwhile, Ranbir and Kaif made a sea-facing penthouse at Carter Road in Bandra their lovenest and are apparently shelling out a whopping ₹15 lakh per month as rent for their dream home.
Recently, there were also news that lovebirds Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are planning out to move in together and rent a flat in Versova, Mumbai, close to where the "NH10" actress currently resides. However, there was no confirmation about it.
On the workfront, Bhatt has "Shandaar" opposite Shahid Kapoor that will release this year. The "2 States" actress has also been roped in "Udta Punjab" alongside the "Haider" actor, the shooting of which is expected to go on floors soon.
