The Telugu dubbed version of Ajith's "Arrambam" is gearing up for a big release on 6 December.
Expectations are high for the Telugu film titled "Aata Arambham", as the Tamil version turned out to be a blockbuster. The action-packed entertainer, which hit the screens on 31 October, has reportedly grossed more than ₹100 crore at the worldwide box office.
The Telugu version is also expected to do well considering the positive buzz around the film. Ajith is one of the most popular stars in Tamil Nadu. However, he has not scored a big hit in recent times in the Telugu film industry. "Aata Arambham" is likely to break the jinx and perform well as there are no other big releases on 6 December.
At least three Telugu films including "Aadu Magadraa Bujji", "Prema Ishq kadhal" and "Chakali Ailamma" will release on the same day as the Ajith starrer. But these films are unlikely to pose a big threat to "Aata Arambham". [
Producer Srinubabu G has purchased the Telugu dubbing rights of the film. He is reportedly putting in lot of effort to release the film on a large scale. Directed by Vishnu Vardhan of "Panja" fame, "Aata Arrambam" has Nayanthara and Taapsee in the female leads. Both actors are well known to the Telugu audience. Arya, the lead actor in "Varna", has played a pivotal role in the action-packed entertainer. [Also check out new teaser of Ajith's "Veeram"]
The other cast members include Mahesh Manjrekar, Atul Kulkarni, Kishore, Krishna, Aadukalam Naren and Akshara Gowda. Rana Daggubati plays a cameo role as a friend and colleague of Ajith.
The film's music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, a regular fixture in all Vishnu Vardhan films. Cinematography is handled by Om Prakash and editing is done by A Sreekar Prasad.
