Indian tablet maker Zync on Wednesday rolled out three budget Android tablets namely, Zync Quad 8.0, Zync Quad 9.7 and Zync Dual 7.0.
All the tree tablets have been priced in the sub ₹15,000 bracket and can be purchased through e-commerce websites.
"Zync has been working on these products for some time and we are very excited at the launch. Our Quad 8.0 would be the first ever 8 inch tablet in India and the Quad 9.7 would be the only tablet with an LED-backlit Super HD IPS Display which the company has launched at such exciting price points. Our new offerings cater to the tech-savvy generation who want to possess the latest gadget with all the latest features bundled into one. Zync has been dedicatedly worked on bringing value for money products for its users and we are sure with the quad core tablets, these offerings are going to create a rage amongst the younger audiences," said Ashish Garg, Director, Zync Global at the launch.
Zync Quad 8.0
Zync Quad 8.0 sports an 8-inch screen with 1024x768 display resolution and is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor. The device is claimed to be the first tablet to be released in India with a screen size of 8 inches. Among its other specifications are Android Jelly Bean operating system, 5,800mAh battery, 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 32GB through a microSD card slot. The tablet comes equipped with a 5-megapixel rear-camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It is priced at ₹12,990.
Zync Quad 9.7
Among the three tablets, Zync Quad 9.7 is the one that stands out with its Retina Display and high screen resolution of 2048x1536 pixels. According to the company, the 9.7-inch display is similar to that of Apple iPad 3.The tablet is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, uses Android Jelly Bean operating system and comes with the same memory storage capacity as that of Quad 8.0. Other specifications include 5-megapixel rear-camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera and 8000 mAh battery. The device is priced at ₹13,990.
Zync Dual 7.0
Zync Dual 7.0 is the most affordable one among the three tablets. At ₹5,990, the tablet comes comes with 7-inch screen with 800x480 pixel resolution and is powered by a dual-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz. Like its other two siblings, Zync Dual 7.0 also runs on Android Jelly Bean operating system. It packs 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, 2-megapixel rear-camera, 0.3-megapixel front-camera and 3,000mAh battery.
