Chinese telecommunication major ZTE on Wednesday, 11 June, launched feature-rich budget smartphone Blade Qlux in India.
The USP of ZTE Blade Qlux is that it supports the 4G-LTE bands - B3 (1800)/B40 (2300) - of India. This means users will be able to enjoy high speed internet with 150/50mbps download/upload speed.
Other stipulated features include 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS screen and run on the Android 5.0 Lollipop OS, 1.3GHz Mediatek quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB inbuilt storage and a 2,200mAh battery, which can power the phone for close to 250 hours under standby mode.
ZTE Blade Qlux 4G India release and price details:
ZTE has confirmed that Blade Qlux 4G will be sold exclusively on Amazon India on 16 June for just ₹4,999. As part of the promotional campaign, it will accompany with Airtel Double data Internet bundle offer.
Competition:
With the sub-₹5000 price tag, ZTE Blade Qlux is now the most affordable 4G-LTE smartphone in the Indian market. The next cheapest 4G phones are Xiaomi's Redmi 2 and Yu Yuphoria, which costs ₹6,999.
It will also give stiff competition to popular Motorola Moto E (4G), Micromax Canvas Spark, Lenovo A6000 Plus, Coolpad Dazen 1, Samsung Galaxy Core Prime 4G among others.
