ZTE launches Blade S7 with dedicated LED front-flash 13MP camera in China; specs, availability details

Chinese smartphone maker, ZTE has officially launched a camera-oriented handset dubbed Blade S7, in Beijing.

"We are delighted to confirm the availability of the ZTE Blade S7, a device packed with a range of fun and innovative features," said Jacky Zhang, CEO of Asia Pacific, ZTE Mobile Devices.

"ZTE is constantly listening to its customers and we wanted to deliver a device that takes the selfie experience to a new level," he added.

As said earlier, ZTE Blade S7's main USP is its camera. It boasts of feature-rich 13MP camera with dedicated LED flash and PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus) technology, so that users will be able to capture a fine quality selfie under any lighting condition.

On the rear-side, it houses a similar 13MP snapper, which has laser auto focus to provide fast and accurate shooting under low-light conditions.

Other notable features of the ZTE Blade S7 include 5.0-inch full HD display, finger-print sensor, Snapdragon 615 Octa-core, 3GB LPDDR4 RAM, 32GB inbuilt memory and a 2500 mAh battery.

The company has confirmed that the new ZTE Blade Z7 will be first made available in Thailand, but the details regarding the specific release time-frame and price of the device are still under wraps.
