ZTE has announced a new 5-inch smartphone, the Blade A2, in China. To be available in three colours -- gold, silver and grey -- the successor to Blade A1 that was released last year will be up for sale next week. It has a metal unibody and a fingerprint sensor.
According to The MobileIndian, the ZTE Blade A2 sports a 5-inch HD 2.5D curved display with 1,280x720 pixels, powered by an octa-core MediaTek (MT6750) 64-bit processor clocking at 1.5 GHz, houses Mali T860 GPU, and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop.
The device also comes packed with a 16GB internal storage expandable up to 128GB via microSD card, 2GB RAM, 13MP main camera with PDAF and LED Flash, 5MP secondary camera, and a 2500mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, the device supports hybrid Dual SIM, 4G with VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
The ZTE Blade A2 comes with a price tag of 599 Yuan (around $91/Rs 6,100). The new smartphone will be available for purchase in China on June 15, but it not known when it will be released into other markets, including India.
