Chinese smartphone maker Zopo Mobile is planning to launch a new handset Speed 8 in India later this week.
The company has commenced sending out invites for an event in New Delhi to introduce Speed 8 on July 20.
For the uninitiated, Zopo Speed 8 made its global debut at MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2016 in February. It is the world's first smartphone to boast Deca-core chipset (made by MediaTek). It houses 10 ARM Cortex A-53 cores and is backed by 700MHz ARM Mali-T880 MP4 graphics engine, sumptuous 4GB RAM and 3600mAh battery.
Other stipulated features include 5.5-inch full display, 21MP Sony IMX230 camera with Auto focus, f/2.2 aperture. LED flash, PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus) and an 8MP front snapper with dedicated LED flash.
The company is expected to reveal the devices' price and release details on Wednesday. Watch this space for more details.

Once the launched, it will up against the OnePlus 2, Lenovo Vibe X3 and Xiaomi Mi 5, among others.
