Zen Mobile's new handset Ultrafone 701 FHD, though not officially announced by the company, has been made available at an online store.
E-retailer, Snapdeal has begun selling the new 5.0-inch full HD (1920x1080p) Zen smartphone for ₹17,999. It runs on the Android v4.2 Jelly Bean OS powered by 1.5GHz Quad-core processor with 1GB RAM and houses 16 GB memory (expandable up to 64GB) on board.
The new smartphone flaunts a 13.0-megapixel main camera with LED flash support and a stunning 8.0-megapixel secondary camera on the front side. On connectivity front, it features dual-SIM slots, 2G & 3G network support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPRS/EDGE.
With a sub-₹18,000 price-tag, the new Zen smartphone is one of the most affordable full HD devices in the market and it will be competing against local rival Micromax's Canvas Turbo A250 and Intex Aqua i7, which also boasts of similar specifications.
Zen Ultrafone 701 FHD is touted as the successor of Ultrafone 701 HD, which was unveiled in April this year. It featured 5.0-inch 720p screen and packed slower 1.2GHZ quad-core CPU, 1GB, 8.0-megapixel main camera and 3.2-megapixel front-facing camera.
