Here is some good news for fans of Zee TV shows. The channel is all set for some major changes in their current shows, wherein all the shows that have been airing from Monday to Friday will be extended. The daily soaps will now run seven days a week.
With this, it appears like Zee TV's highly popular shows, including "Kumkum Bhagya," "Jamai Raja," "Meri Saasu Maa," "Amma," "Tashan-e-Ishq" and others will soon be airing from Monday to Sunday.
According to an India Forums report, the channel took the decision as reality show "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa" 2016, which telecasts on weekends, is nearing its end and a new daily soap is yet to fill in the same time slot. Hence, until a new show is scheduled, the channel has decided to extend the ongoing daily soaps.
Zee TV has been one of the leading channels with immensely huge viewership. The channel's highly watched show "Kumkum Bhagya" has been entertaining the viewers with its interesting plots and talented cast and within a short span of time, it has turned out to be one of the top-rated television shows with massive TRP ratings.
Besides extending the daily soaps, "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa" 2016, which was supposed to telecast the grand finale on July 3 has also been extended by two weeks. With no other show to replace it in the same time slot, the channel and the makers decided to stretch it for another two weeks.
The extension has forced the show's host Aditya Narayan to make an exit due to his prior commitments. The makers have now roped in actors Annu Kapoor and Jay Bhanushali to replace Aditya on the show.
