The 14th edition of the Zee Cine Awards was broadcast on Television on 23 February (Sunday). The award ceremony happened on Saturday night (8 February) in Mumbai.
The show was hosted by Abhishek Bachchan and Riteish Deshmukh.
The who's who of Bollywood including Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Sonakshi Sinha, Priyanka Chopra, Genelia D'Souza, Subhash Ghai, Rakesh Om Prakash Mehra, Farhan Akhtar and other celebrities were present at the award show.
"Bhaag Milkha Bhaag" bagged five awards including Best Film and Best Director. Farhan Akhtar won best actor award for "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag", while Divya Dutta won best supporting actress award.
Blockbuster film of 2013 "Chennai Express" won four awards including the best popular film. Shah Rukh Khan won best actor (popular) and Deepika Padukone won best actor female (popular) award for "Chennai Express"
