Zayn Malik quitting One Direction was big news. Later, news of the singer rejoining the world's most successful boy band was even bigger. But now it appears the singer has other plans and is not planning to be part of the band.
One Direction has now adjusted to making music without former member Zayn Malik. Their recent tour is proof that the band has moved on, leaving their ex-member behind.
Zayn, on the other hand, quit the band for a reason — to focus on his solo career. And now, it looks like the reason stays on and the singer has no intention of returning to One Direction.
It all started early Sunday morning when One Direction fans began trending the hashtag "#ZaynIsComingBack" on Twitter after the ex-band member reposted the 1D website.
Fans assumed this repost could possibly be a sign that the band has sorted out their differences and that Zayn may rejoin the band that comprises Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne.
Now, Hollywood Life reports it's all Internet rumours and Malik has no intention to rejoin the boy band as he doesn't want to face the pressure of being part of such a popular band.
"Zayn wants to go solo, so he can try and fly under the radar and not have the pressures of being in the world's biggest pop group. He won't return to 1D, and certainly not before he can prove to himself and the doubters that he can forge a successful career on his own," the website quoted a source as saying.
Well, it looks like One Direction and Zayn Malik fans need to hang in there to know if there's any reunion happening.
