Zareen Khan is currently one of the hottest divas in Bollywood but the actress has worked very hard to attain the kind of body that she has now. The "Hate Story 3" actress shared some pictures of her childhood on Instagram and added a long message, revealing her encounter with body shaming during her teenage years.
The two pictures that Zareen shared show her when she was in the ninth and 12th grade. The sizzling actress was apparently quite chubby during her childhood and faced a lot of criticism and body shaming for her extra weight. However, she added, she was not bothered about the ill comments, and tried to shed weight and get in better shape for her own self.
"Came across these pics of mine from school and college days. (White one was in std 9th & pink one was right after my std 12th exams). Whn I look at these pics I feel proud of myself today not tht I felt any lesser abt myself back then," she wrote.
Talking about her weight loss journey, she added, "It wasn't easy at all bt everytime I looked at the Progress in the mirror I got the push to do more. I had lots more energy that before and I was loving every bit of this new person I was transforming into."
Zareen revealed that she was still criticised in the films industry for her voluptuous looks. "Unfortunately I was criticised to no end Fr my weight bt again I never let tht get on me. How cud I ? Those ppl had not seen me like the way I am in these pics here. And Fr me everything was jus an achievement to reach frm where I was to where I am," she said.
The actress stresses that fitness is a way of life for her now, which she will continue for her own sake.
Zareen made her Bollywood debut with the movie "Veer" starring Salman Khan. She was last seen in the erotic thriller, "Hate Story 3," in which she surprised all with her bold avatar.
