Ace cricketer Yuvraj Singh, who is gearing up for his wedding with Bollywood actress and model Hazel Keech on November 30, recently visited Indian parliament, where he wanted to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other dignitaries to extend the invitation for his wedding. Yuvraj was accompanied by his mother Shabnam Singh.
The couple will tie the knot at a gurudwara in Chandigarh. This will be followed by another wedding as per Hindu rituals (Hazel's mother is a Hindu) in Goa on December 2. Soon after the wedding, the newlyweds will fly to Delhi for their sangeet and reception ceremonies, which will be held on December 5 and 7, respectively.
The sangeet ceremony will be choreographed by Farah Khan. The renowned Bollywood choreographer had agreed to help Yuvraj when the cricketer recently made a guest appearance on reality dance show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9, where Farah is one of the judges. Yuvraj asked her to choreograph his sangeet ceremony and the filmmaker-choreographer readily agreed.
"I am meeting Yuvraj to discuss the sangeet ceremony's choreography. He is a very old and dear friend, so it's not a professional engagement for me. He calls me his sister, so it's more like a gift," Farah told the Times of India.
Yuvraj and the model-turned-actress met at a friend's party last year and since then they have been spotted together at many public events. However, back then, both the cricketer and Hazel denied dating and claimed to be just friends.
