Even as Yuvraj Singh's estranged sister-in-law and ex-Bigg Boss 10 contestant Akanksha Sharma has been making headlines for her shocking statements regarding the ace cricketer and his family, the wedding preparations of Yuvraj and Hazel Keech are going on in full swing.
While initial reports said that the couple will tie the knot in December, the latest buzz is that the lovebirds will get married on November 30 at a gurdwara in Chandigarh, the Times of India reported. This will be followed by another wedding as per Hindu rituals (since Hazel's mother is from Uttar Pradesh) on December 2, which will be held in Goa.
Soon after the wedding, the newlyweds will fly off to Delhi for their sangeet and reception ceremonies, both of which will be held in Delhi on December 5 and 7, respectively. The sangeet will be held at a farmhouse near Chattarpur, while the venue of the reception is a city hotel.
Yuvraj and Hazel got engaged in a low-key affair in Bali, Indonesia. Talking about the grand wedding plans, Yuvraj had earlier told DNA: "You get married only once. A wedding is an occasion you want to celebrate with everyone. We were always sure we wanted to invite everyone to the wedding. It will be a three-four day affair. We will have a couple of events to make sure all my cricketer friends get to attend them."
Yuvraj and the model-turned actress met at a friend's party last year and since then they have been spotted together at many public events. However, back then, both the cricketer and Hazel denied dating and claimed to be just friends.
