Cricketer Yuvraj Singh is likely to return to the field soon, following his recovery from a rare germ cell cancer.
Yuvraj singh, who has been undergoing treatment for cancer, is recuperating well and also planning to make a comeback soon.
"Good day today Got my blood report and scan report!! I'm in good condition!! I'm so happy to lead a normal healthy life time to celebrate," he tweeted
The all-rounder is said to have spent at least five days at the National Cricket Academy last week to assess his fitness by the medical team of the cricket board. He was practicing with fast-medium bowler Ishant Sharma who is also undergoing fitness drills following his ankle surgery.
Yuvraj has reportedly played well in the short match and was also seen smashing sixes against Ishant's balls. Yuvraj himself tweeted on his micro blogging page twitter last week about his practice sessions.
"Back to where I belong! Me and Ishant working it out ! Comeback is not a challenge Its a statment!!," he tweeted.
He also posted a message saying: "Me and ishant playd a 4 over tennis bal match He hit me for 6 sixes but I won the game by hitting the 7th six of his last bal Hard luk ishi."
According to sources Yuvraj will be fit to play for the Indian cricket team soon adding that Yuvraj has been regularly taking Yoga sessions and attending the gym to achieve fitness.
"This was the first match Yuvraj was playing after his treatment. He is feeling better now and will be fit to play for India soon," TOI quoted a source as saying.
"He is nearing full fitness and should be ready for the grind in a month's time," the source added.
Yuvraj Singh was diagnosed with the rare germ cell cancer early January and underwent chemotherapy in the United States. He returned to India in April and began his fitness drills last week.
