The hit duo of music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja and actor Simbu is back again for the film "Idhu Namma Aalu". The ace composer has sung a song for the upcoming Pandiraja directorial.
Simbu, who was busy with the dubbing of "Vaalu", joined the team of "Idhu Namma Aalu" at the recording studio on 24 November and as per reports, the recording went on till midnight.
The actor soon shared his excitement, on his Twitter page, about working with Yuvan after a long time.
"An important person is about to sing a song for #INA ...Very close friend ,great human and our combination has never failed any guess who? Its our #yuvan for #INA .... Great time during recording ... Bin a very long time ..." tweeted Simbu.
The actor also shared some pictures from the recording studio. The film will also mark the Simbu's brother Karalarasan's debut as a music director.
Meanwhile, Yuvan was earlier associated with Simbu as music composer of many of his films including "Thotti Jaya", "Manmadhan", 'Vaanam", "Silambattam" and "Vallavan". The duo had also co-written for the most popular single track, "Evan Di Unna Pethan", for "Vaanam".
"Ithu Naama Aalu" is Simbu-Nayanthara joint venture after a gap of seven years. The last film they did together was "Vallavan" in 2006, after which they were romantically involved and their casting for the latest movie made headlines in South Cinema as they had a controversial break-up.
Director Pandiraj had confessed that it was difficult to convince both Nayanthara and Simbu to do a film together, but managed to do it by pointing out ex-couples like Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, who worked together in "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" after their break-up.
"Idhu Namma Aalu" is touted as a romantic comedy entertainer and has been in production for past one year. This upcoming movie is produced by Simbu and the film also has a star cast of Andrea Jeremiah, Santhanam, Soori, Arjunan and Jayaprakash in pivotal roles.
"Idhu Namma Aalu" is expected to hit theatres by February 2015.
