Yuvan Shankar Raja, who had quit Twitter in 2014, has returned to the social media website again. The news was formally announced by director Venkat Prabhu.
The music director had bid goodbye to Twitter in 2014 after getting abused by his followers. Yuvan Shankar Raja's decision to convert to Islam had irked the religious fanatics and caused him a lot of trouble on Twitter.
The angry comments posted by his followers did not go well with him and hurt him badly. This forced him disable his account. Now, he has returned to the Twitter with a new identity -- thisisysr.
The credit for bringing him back to Twitter goes to his cousin, director Venkat Prabhu. It is said that the director requested him to be back on the social networking site and helped him change his mind.
Announcing the news, the "Mankatha" creator wrote, "#masss audio work in full swing!!! @thisisysr @Suriya_offl and welcome back to Twitter u1!!!"
Yuvan Shankar Raja has not posted anything yet and he has only retweeted Venkat Prabbhu's tweet.
Meanwhile, fans have given him a rousing welcome on Twitter. As soon as the news was out, his crazy fans created a trend on Twitter and thanked him for being back on the social networking site. They also asked him a lot of questions but the musician has remained unavailable as of now.
