Just a few days ago, Yu's unannounced Yureka Note retail-package got leaked online, and now the company has officially launched the new phablet.
Yureka Note is the first smartphone from Yu (Micromax's subsidiary) to be launched in 2016. The Yutopia was the company's last device that came out in December 2015.
Features of Yureka Note are the same as seen on the leaked retail-package. It sports a mammoth 6.0-inch full HD (1920x1080p) IPS display with Gorilla Glass 3 shield. It runs Android Lollipop powered by a 1.5GHz MediaTek octa-core, 3GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt storage and a 4000mAh battery with quick charge technology.
It also comes packed with finger-print sensor, a 13MP camera with dual-tone LED flash on the back and an 8MP snapper on the front.
Yu Yureka Note price and availability:
The company confirmed that the new Yureka Note has been made available at brick-and-mortar stores starting April 16 onwards. It comes in black colour option for Rs. 13,499.
Competition:
Going by the price and features of the Yureka Note, it will be up against the popular LeEco Le 1s, Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, Coolpad Note 3, Moto G (3rd Gen), OnePlus X and Lenovo K4 Note. It will also be competing with its own sister brand Micromax Canvas 6 Pro and soon-to-be-released Meizu M3 Note, among others.
