Pictures and key features of the much-awaited Micromax YU Yuphoria (aka Project Caesar) have leaked online ahead of the 12 May launch.
Technology blog BGR India has received the snapshots and specification list of the upcoming YU Yuphoria. In the picture, the device sports the trademark YU logo on the top (middle) of the display, just like the Yureka. It also flaunts Android Lollipop insignia on the screen-lock.
It boasts a glossy cover, unlike the grainy shell we see in Yureka. Overall, the device looks compact having rectangular shape with curved corners.
On the specification front, YU Yuphoria is said to boast LTE modem and will be shipped with the Android 5.0 Lollipop OS-based Cyanogen 12 OS out-of-the-box.
Other expected features include 2GB RAM, 64-bit class SoC (System on Chip), and 16GB inbuilt memory. Numerous reports have suggested that Yuphoria will be competing against the Chinese rival Redmi 2 and is likely to be priced under ₹7,000.
In a related development, YU Televentures Ltd, in its bid to clear the Yureka stocks ahead of Yuphoria launch, has announced to sell the phone via open sale this week.
