A new software patch to fix bugs has been released to YU Yuphoria in India.
"The update has been thoroughly tested on a number of devices & I have been personally testing it on my YUPHORIA. I'm loving the enhanced experience & am sure you will also feel the same," said YU forum community manager.
The size of the new update (build number: YNG1TBS2P2) is around 38MB and it is said to fix the annoying proximity and also tweak the phone's camera to take sharper images, improved macro shots at low-light conditions.
It also makes the touchscreen more responsive, faster typing on keyboard, gesture controls and also enhance dialer experience.
The company also said the software patch will improve thermal management so that device won't get over-heated during normal operation and also enhance audio chipset "resulting in richer bass, sharper highs" and improve the overall user-experience of the device.
That being said, the all new Cyanogen OS v12.1, based on Android 5.1 Lollipop, is in the final stage of testing and will soon get rolled out, probably by the end of this month or early July for both YU Yureka and Yuphoria.
How to Install Cyanogen OS 12 (Android 5.0.2 Lollipop) OTA stability Update on YU Yuphoria:
If YU Yuphoria owners are getting the update notifications on the smartphone, then select "Yes, Download" option >> then, after downloading, select >> "Install now". The phone will restart automatically and the OS will be updated to the new version.
We would like to remind our readers that the roll-out process is carried out in phases, so it will take some time (2-3 weeks) to reach all corners of the country.
Until then, users can check for OTA update manually by going to 'Settings' >> 'About phone' >> 'System update' >> 'Check Now'.
[Tip: Before checking for update manually, reboot the smartphone by switching it off and restart]
