Recent reports suggest Yogendra Yadav may lose his top position in the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) as its national executives, comprising of 17 leaders, decided on Friday that party convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will reconstitute the Political Affairs Committee (PAC), which is now headed by Yadav.
Some sources close to the party have said that some members were not satisfied with Yadav's mode of work.
Reports also suggest that following heated arguments between the senior leader and other party members on Thursday, Yadav was not invited to Friday's meeting.
Even party's senior leader Prashant Bhushan was not invited, according to NDTV.
Kejriwal and Delhi's Deputy CM Manish Sisodia were also reportedly missing from the meeting, where it was decided that Kejriwal would reorganise the PAC.
However, when asked regarding the matter, Yadav said, "I will not comment on this. It is all speculation. We are above all this...we have a greater purpose to serve."
