Fans of YG Entertainment's new girl group Black Pink have waited for a while for the band to debut. The four member K-pop group was introduced a few weeks ago and since then, much hype and suspense has surrounded the band's debut date.
Sources from YG Entertainment earlier said that Black Pink would debut by the end of July. But there has been no word from the company about the exact date as yet. At this juncture, it seems as if fans of the new girl band are beginning to get just a little frustrated with what seems to be an endless wait.
Netizens have expressed their anger most prominently on social media. Several fans of Black Pink, who've been waiting to watch Lisa Manoban, Rosé, Kim Jisoo and Jennie Kim perform, have taken to Twitter and YG-Family's Facebook page to express their grief regarding the band's debut.
One Twitter user tweeted, "I'm gonna be so mad if theres no blackpink in the end of julyyy" While another wrote, "can't wait for #BLACKPINK debut MVs :(("
The twittersphere has been rife with several fans' apparent impatience with not just Black Pink's debut, but 2NE1 and BIGBANG's comeback. Many fans have attacked the company for its poor management skills when it comes to their bands.
On YG-Family's Facebook Page, several users have been vocal about the lack of information regarding 2NE1's comeback and Black Pink's debut. Several fans have wondered when BIGBANG members will release a new track from their M.A.D.E album as well.
However, YG Entertainment has been keeping fans interested in their new band with several photos, insider information and videos. According to the latest news, Black Pink's dance practice video has crossed over 4 million views in a span of two weeks since its release.
Sources in the company have said that band members have finished filming three music videos and will debut soon.
