Ajith's "Yennai Arindhaal" is on its way to being the biggest Tamil film in terms of box office collection in USA.
Latest reports suggest that the movie has done extremely well in the country collecting $113,232 (approximately Rs 69 Lakhs) from 75 screens in its premiere.

This is a record collection for Ajith in the United States; his previous best was "Arrambam". With this record "Yennai arindhaal" has placed itself in Top five all time USA premiere box office list.
The first place goes to "Lingaa" with $404.6k from 118 screens, followed by "Endhiran" with $260k from 45 screens, "I" with $168.8k from 120 screens and "Kaththi" with $142.8k from 76 screens. "Yennai Arindhaal" is in the fifth rank.
The response to Ajith's latest flick shows that the market in USA has opened doors to other stars like Ajith, Vijay and Vikram and not just Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth movies. Though "Yennai Arindhaal" is miles away from the records of other Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan movies, industry experts are reporteldy waiting to see the movies box office result in coming days.
"Yennai Arindhaal", which released on 5 February in more than 1,000 screen worldwide, has received positive reviews. The movie features Ajith in four different looks, which has already become a trend-setter and industry insiders now expect "Yennai Arindhaal" to be a big box office success.
"Yennai Arindhaal" also has an impressive star cast, which includes Trisha Krishnan, Anushka Shetty, Vivek, Arun Vijay, Daniel Balaji, Amit Bhargava, Rajasimman and Devi Ajith.
