"Yennai Arindhaal" creator Gautham Menon's next movie with Vikram is generating a lot of rumours even before it has hit the floors. The latest buzz is about its genre.
It was recently said that the upcoming film is a high-octane action movie and that Gautham Menon was reviving his earlier film "Yohan" starring Vijay. The latest reports say that it is not the Ilayathalapathy film, but a period-fantasy film "Dhruva Natchathiram", which was supposed to star Surya.
There is a strong buzz in cine circles that Gautham Menon is reviving "Dhruva Natchathiram". This film was announced with Surya and the film unit even had muhurat. But the director and actor had a fall out over some issues finally leading to the "Ghajini" actor walking out of the film and blaming the filmmaker for failing to come up with a proper script on time.
Now, Gautham Menon has reportedly approached Vikram with the same script and has got his nod. The actor has asked the director to make some changes in the script and the director has agreed to tweak the script.
Both the director and the actor have recently tasted success with their films. While Gautham Menon's "Yennai Arindhaal" turned out to be an average hit, Vikram's mega-budget film "I" directed by Shankar brought him back in the form.
In the mean time, Gautham Menon is busy with his other project "Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada" starring Simbu and Pallavi. The movie will be ready by May. At the other end, Chiyaan is busy with "10 Enradhukulla" directed by Vijay Milton of "Goli Soda" fame.
