Even as viewers of Star Plus' longest running show "Yeh Risha Kya Kehlata Hai" were eagerly looking forward to the wedding of Naksh (Rohan Mehra) and Tara (Umang Jain) after the elaborate engagement ceremony, it seems like the wedding of Akshara's (Hina Khan) son will not take place in the near future.
According to a Telly Chakkar report, Hina has reportedly refused to play the role of a mother-in-law on-screen. Considering that Hina plays the female lead role on the show, the makers have no option but change the track.
The report further stated that the makers are now mulling over the idea of turning Umang's character negative. "The makers have to show a solid and strong reason for the wedding of Naksh and Tara to break. In order to give justice to the situation there are in, they are contemplating to turn Tara negative. The girl will be shown having problems understanding the wavelength of people in the Singhania household, which will create a rift between Naksh and Tara," a source told the web-portal.
Umang is apparently unhappy with the way her character is changing from positive to negative. "Umang is not happy with the way her character is now shaping up, as this was not in the script that was planned earlier," the source added.
With this development, it remains to be seen if this is the end of Naksh and Tara's love story.
In other news, rumours were doing the rounds recently that the makers of "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" were mulling over replacing Hina with another actress. Apparently, Hina has been throwing tantrums on the sets and she often arrives late for the shoot. Further, her constant interference with the script has been bothering the makers as well as the cast.
"Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" is currently revolving around the kidnapping of Naira (Ashnoor Kaur). In the recent episodes, Akshara found a new way to rescue her daughter from the trap. The actress, disguised as a Rajastani man, was seen trying to get in touch with Naira.
