"Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" recently took another generational leap, after which a grown-up Naira (Shivangi Joshi) was seen living in a town in Uttar Pradesh. On the other hand, Akshara (Hina Khan) and the entire Singhania family were seen missing Naira and recalling happy moments with her.
According to a Tellychakkar.com report, Mohsin Khan, who will play Naira's love interest, will soon enter the show. The actor recently shot for the introductory sequence, which will see him performing a daredevil stunt. Interestingly, Mohsin chose to do the stunt on his own, instead of using a body double.
"The particular scene was shot in Lakshman Jhula, wherein the current of water is very fast and cold. Mohsin simply enjoyed shooting for the sequence even though it turned out to be a tough proposition for him," a source said.
Also, Mohsin's character will be full of life, much like Naira. "Yes it was a great introductory sequence to shoot and this character will be full of life. It was indeed a tough ask to shoot for the scene in water, but I managed it. Well I hurt myself at various occassions, but all that is passe as I enjoyed my moments in water [sic]," Mohsin told the web portal.
Meanwhile, Ashnoor Kaur, who played the role of a young Naira, wrapped up her shoot last week. It was an emotional moment for the entire team as they bid farewell to the little girl. Talking about her journey on the show, Ashnoor had told Tellychakkar.com she would always cherish the moments she spent with her co-stars. "My journey with 'Yeh Rishta...' has been great. I was always pampered by all my co-stars and I have made a lot of relations with my team. I was associated with them for the longest duration in my entire career. I got brothers like Karan (Mehra) bhaiya and Rohan (Mehra) bhaiya and sister like Hina (Khan) di from this soap," Ashnoor had said.
