The post-leap drama of "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" saw Shivangi Joshi joining the cast as grown-up Naira. The actress, popular for her role of Poonam on her previous show "Begusarai," has been gradually making her way into the hearts of ardent viewers of "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai."
The actress recently hit a milestone by crossing 20K followers on Instagram. Shivangi, who is quite active on social media, took to her Instagram page to express her gratitude to her fans for the love showered on her. Shivangi shared a video of hers where she is seen blowing kisses to her fans.
Meanwhile, the ongoing track that has been revolving around the mother-daughter duo — Akshara (Hina Khan) and Naira — and their differences has also been engaging the viewers.
Earlier, Shivangi had told Tellychakkar.com that she and Hina have already grown fond of each other. "My family is happy that I am a part of 'Yeh Rishta (Kya Kehlata Hai)' as they love this show. My parents used to watch the show before I came on board. Hina is a wonderful actress and I am happy that I get to share screen space with a talented bunch of actors," Shivangi had said.
In the recent episodes of the show, Naitik (Karan Mehra) was seen leaving for Nigeria for his business assignment and Naman (Anshul Pandey) accompanied him. However, it was reported that after reaching the hotel room in Nigeria, both Naitik and Naman would get involved in a huge argument. The fight would result in Naman pushing Naitik into a glass pane and with the latter getting severely injured. Naman would then plan to kidnap Naitik. This would mark the beginning of a new track wherein Akshara and Naira would be seen frantically searching for Naitik.
