Looks like the makers of Star Plus' long-running show "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" are having a tough time shooting with the lead actress Hina Khan, who plays the role of Akshara.
According to an Absolute India report, of late, the actress has been throwing tantrums on the sets and often arrives late for the shoot. Further her constant interference with the script has resulted in the makers mulling over the idea of replacing the actress.
"Hina Khan not only arrives late for the shoot but has also been interfering with every scene. All this has agitated her co-stars and makers of the show alike," a source told the web-portal.
Further, the report stated that although the makers have decided to replace the actress, they are also considering the fact that replacing Hina with another actress might not go down well with the show's loyal viewers, who have been watching the soap opera for the past seven years.
Moreover, the on-screen pair, Hina and Karan aka Naitik, are not on talking terms and their cold war is also said to be evident on the sets of the show. Recently, there were also reports that Karan would be quitting the show as he is upset with the generation leap in the show. However, the actor refuted to the rumours claiming that he is very much a part of the show.
In other news, "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" will soon witness the engagement of Akshara and Naitik's son Naksh (Rohan Mehra) with his ladylove Tara (Umang Jain). The ceremony will take place in Hong Kong.
