"Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" is gearing up for another generation leap, after which several new faces will be introduced. However, with the time jump, Ashnoor Kaur, who essays the role of the cheerful Naira will exit the show and Shivangi Joshi will replace her as grown-up Naira.

Ashnoor recently wrapped up her shoot and the entire team bid an emotional farewell to the little girl. Talking about her journey on the show, Ashnoor told Tellychakkar.com that she would always cherish the moments she has spent with her co-stars.

"My journey with Yeh Rishta... has been great. I was always pampered by all my co-stars and I have made a lot of relations with my team. I was associated with them for the longest duration in my entire career. I got brothers like Karan (Mehra) bhaiya and Rohan (Mehra) bhaiya and sister like Hina (Khan) di from this soap," Ashnoor said.

Ashnoor also received a lot of gifts from her team and has posted Hina's special gift to her on Twitter. "I have received a lot of gifts. Hina di gave me a Guess watch as I love wearing watches," she said.

"I made Hina di and Karan bhaiya fill my slam book. Karan bhaiya wrote 'It is very painful that you are going. I will miss you a lot. It feels like my daughter is going away from me. I pulled your leg, we had fun time together. Best of luck. Love you' and Hina di wrote 'Darling Ashnoor be the way you are and love yourself and respect your parents. All the best.' I will always cherish these memories," she added.

Meanwhile, post-leap, Naksh (Rohan) will be seen sporting Aamir Khan's look from his film "Ghajini" and Akshara (Hina) will also appear in a completely different look. The gorgeous actress will turn ultramodern and will sport Indo-western outfits. Also, Mohsin Khan has been roped in to play Naira's love interest, Kartik.
