Television actor Rohan Mehra, who plays the role of Naksh in Star Plus' long running show "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai," has reportedly parted ways with girlfriend and "Siya Ke Ram" actress Yukti Kapoor.
According to a report in Tellychakkar.com, the couple was not able to spend quality time with each other as Yukti has been shooting in Hyderabad, while Rohan in Mumbai. The distance was apparently the reason for the split. Rohan and Yukti had shared screen space in "Uvaa," a film released in 2015.
Recent reports also had it that both Rohan and Yukti will be participating in the upcoming season of celebrity dance reality show "Nach Baliye." Earlier, Rohan was rumoured to be dating his "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" co-star Umang Jain, but he refuted the reports.
In other news, Rohan's character Naksh in "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" is trying to solve the mystery of a letter, which was written by Kuhu's mother addressing it to Kuhu's father. With Naksh trying to find out who Kuhu's father is, he is unable to dedicate time to his ladylove Tara (Umang Jain).
This year, several television celebs shocked their fans with the news of their breakups. On Wednesday (March 23), reports of "Nach Baliye 7" couple Mayuresh Wadkar and Ajisha Shah parting ways surfaced. The report stated that differences between the couple was the reason for the split.
Others who have parted ways this year are Kritika Kamra and her alleged boyfriend Siddharth Bijpuria, "Sasural Simar Ka" actress Sara Khan and Rishabh Tandon, Anas Rashid of "Diya Aur Baati Hum" fame and Rati Pandey. "Jodha Akbar" actors Ravi Bhatia and Heena Parmar also called it quits early this year.
