Star Plus hit show "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" has been focusing on the legal war between Ishita (aka Divyanaka Tripathi) and Shagun (Anita Hassanandani) over Ruhi's custody for quite some time now.
Ishita is putting in all her efforts in bringing her child back from Shagun. She had even promised Ruhi that she will be home in just 48 hours.
Shagun's lawyer Vohra, who initially cheated Raman (aka Karan Patel) by making him sign wrong court papers that changed Ruhi's custody instead of Aditya's, has surprisingly changed his mind and is ready to help Ishita win the custody.
In the latest development, Vohra hands over Ishita a letter, which if submitted in the court, can help her win the battle.
But unfortunately, Shagun comes to know about Ishita's plan and makes it clear that she won't let Ruhi return to her.
Meanwhile, Raman is worried that Ishita's plan to win Ruhi's custody will make Aditya, who has come to stay with his family, return to Shagun.
Raman doesn't want Aditya to return to his mother and at the same time wants Ruhi to be back. He now tries to play a game with Ishita and takes the letter from her. He convinces her that Aditya needs his family and that they will bring Ruhi back in some time.
Ruhi, who is eagerly waiting for Ishita to take her back from Shagun, realises that Ishita has broken her promise and will not come to take her. Angry Ruhi confronts Ishita and says she hates her and decides to stay with her biological mother Shagun from now on. Ishita breaks down hearing Ruhi's decision.
It now remains to be seen if Ruhi gradually start liking Shagun or returns to Ishita.
