In the latest development of Ekta Kapoor's top rated show "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein", the entire Bhalla family seemed to be in a celebratory mood over Simi and Subbu's (Amit Tandon) engagement.
Everyone enjoyed the sangeet and engagement ceremonies and had a gala time dancing to the tunes of retro songs. The lead actors, Raman (Karan Patel) and Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi), performed a romantic song. Even Romi (Aly Goni) and Mihika showed their dancing skills.
Shagun (Anita Hassanandani), who had planned to flee with both Ruhi and Aditya, asked them to join her soon after the ceremony was over. While Aditya readily agreed, Ruhi was initially hesitant but was later convinced by Aditya.
On the other hand, the Bhallas were unaware of Shagun's plan. While Ishita and Raman believed that the children are with their grand parents, the Bhallas thought Raman and Ishita, who were planning to spend an intimate night in a hotel suite, might have booked another suite for their children.
However, Ishita and Raman's dream night was interrupted by a phone call that informed them that Ruhi and Aditya hadn't reached home and were with none of the family members.
The show came up with a surprising twist when Shagun put Aditya and Ruhi's life in danger after her kitchen caught fire. While she succeeded in fleeing the scene, Ishita came to the children's rescue. Shocked at Shagun's selfish attitude, Aditya asked Shagun to leave his life.
While speculations have been doing the rounds that this is the end of Shagun's character post which she will exit from the show, it remains to be known if Raman and Ishita will ever be able to consummate their marriage.
