After "Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi", "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" is set to take a leap and it's not happening without a major twist.
On Thursday's episode, the Bhalla family was shown to be on a bus which was later rigged with a bomb by the driver.
According to reports, Raman (Karan Patel) and Romi (Aly Goni) will successfully save the ladies except Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi), who will apparently die in the bomb blast.
"Raman will succeed in saving the ladies but he will fail to save Ishita. Hence Ishita will be shown dead in the bomb blast. Soon, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein will take leap and Ishita will return along with her baby. Also, Raman will once again be seen as an arrogant man as seen during the initial stages of the show," India-Forums quoted a source as saying.
The insider also said how Ishita will return but will have no memories of her past.
What's interesting to note is, Divyanka has not used a body-double for one of the stunts in the blast sequence. She drove the bus all by herself and gave a perfect shot for the director.
"My mother has been my driving teacher. She has driven a tractor too. I wanted to show her that her daughter could also drive a bus. Another high was that I got to satiate my adventurous hunger courtesy this scene," Divyanka told The Times of India.
This leap has been coming for a long time, and when the news first broke out, Divyanka said she wasn't prepared to play mother to grown-up kids adding her fans will not appreciate her in grey hair.
Only time will tell if it's time for Divyanka's character to bid goodbye for good.
