Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel's popular television show "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" will witness more drama as the show is finally set to take a leap.
Earlier, the leap was expected to take place in June, but the makers postponed it. And now it looks like that the makers have decided to change the plot with the leap.
"The casting has already begun from yesterday and by end of next month, the plot will finally see a leap in time," Tellychakkar.com reported quoting a source.
"With the leap (told to be of approx 10 years), a lot will change in the serial. From new faces to new relationships, a plethora of changes will see in line," the daily further added.
So going by the reports child artists Ruhanika Dhawan (Ruhi) and Gautam Ahuja (Aditya) might bid adieu from the show.
"Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" is one of the popular shows of television industry. The show tops the chart of TRP with its twists and drama, and the leap is expected to keep the entertainment and drama quotient high.
Meanwhile, Ekta Kapoor, who is the producer of "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" , had previously explained why leap in the Indian television matters.
"If channels tell me today that we don't want a leap and we'll give you a three-month break and you start from where you leave the story, I will not do a leap," the 37-year-old told IANS in 2012.
"Whenever you make a show, you deal with daily issues on an episodic basis and after some time it stagnates. Abroad, you get a seasonal break so you can come back with freshness. To bring freshness, sometimes you need to show a different aspect of the story and for that you do a leap. It's as simple as that," said Ekta.
