'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' Team To Have New Cast; Ruchika Rajput Set to Play Major Role

After the ongoing Subbu's (Amit Tandon) revenge track, Star Plus show "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" will see some major developments.

For the past couple of episodes, Aditya has been seen showing interest in his classmate Vinnie. In the coming episodes, the show will reportedly focus of the kids' growing proximity and the role of their parents in dealing with the sensitive issue.

"The track ahead will see how Aditya and Vinnie will fall for each other, and how their parents will deal with this sensitive situation." an insider told Telly Chakkar.

Actress Ruchika Rajput will join the cast of the popular Balaji Telefilms show to play Vinnie's mother.

Ruchika, who has acted in shows such as "Crime Patrol" and "Sasural Genda Phool, will play a wealthy lady who dotes on her daughter Vinnie. The sophisticated mother is always proud of her daughter's achievements.

While Ruchika has been signed,  Vinnie's father is yet to be finalised. Apparently, the character will play as Raman's (Karan Patel) prime investor.

When contacted by the web portal, Ruchika said: "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein is a wonderful show. The star cast is so down to earth. Working with Balaji has always been my dream, which has come true. I have grown up watching their shows, and I am glad to be part of one."

Meanwhile, on the show, Subbu reveals the reason for his revenge against Raman and Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi).
